Kareena and Shahid to be seen together in Milenge Milenge
Kareena and Shahid to be seen together in Milenge Milenge.
Kareena Kapoor and her ex-beau Shahid Kapur were a hit pair in “Jab We Met” and the actress says they won’t disappoint fans as an on-screen couple in their much delayed “Milenge Milenge” either.
“I know people have expectations from us individually and as a pair. And they won’t be disappointed. It’s a very sweet film. And not dated at all though it got delayed. I’m as proud of ‘Milenge Milenge’ as I am of any of my films,” said Kareena, who is currently dating actor Saif Ali Khan.
The romantic comedy by director Satish Kaushik has been in the making since 2005.
Defying all talk that she has been sidelining her only pending assignment with Shahid, Kareena said she had been running in and out of the studio to complete the dubbing before she leaves for a shoot in New York.
“We’re all professionals here. For me it doesn’t matter who the leading man in ‘Milenge Milenge’ is. For me what is important is that I made a commitment to two of my favourite people in the industry - producer Boney Kapoor and director Satish Kaushik - who’ve stood by me from the beginning of my career. How can I let them down? Boney wants a summer release for his film. I’ve to complete my dubbing before I leave,” said Kareena.
“I’m running in and out of two dubbing studios. I’ve already completed most of the dubbing,” she added.
“Milenge Milenge” is special because the former couple will be seen together after Imtiaz Ali’s lovable “Jab We Met” in 2007.

Finally Kareena will work with Imtiaz again!
Finally Kareena will work with Imtiaz again!. Kareena Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali are all set to recreate the magic of Jab We Met by teaming up together in a snack ad.
After the success of Jab..., Bebo was keen on working with Imtiaz Ali again, but the director chose Deepika instead in Love Aaj Kal.
According to sources, Kareena insisted that Imtiaz should direct her in the ad as she was "dying" to work with the director.
A source has revealed the concept of the ad. "The concept is much like the story of Jab We Met. Bebo will be wearing ethnic salwar-suits and would run through the sarson ka khets."

Kambakkht Ishq is also a remake Tamil Film
Kambakkht Ishq is also a remake Tamil Film. Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor starter Kambakkht Ishq is a remake of Tamil film Pammal K. Sambandam (2002) starring Kamal Hassan titled. The Tamil film was a big hit down South.
In the tamil movie, Kamal Hassan had played the title role and it also starred Simran, Abbas and Sneha. Their roles have been substituted with Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani and Sneha respectively. It was directed by Mouli.
In the Tamil original, Kamal enacted the role of a film stuntman while Simran was a doctor in the making. In the Hindi version, Akshay Kumar is a renowned stunt artiste while Kareena Kapoor plays a super model and a doctor. Pammal K. Sambandam is been remade in Hindi by Anees Bazmee for South producer GV Films which had acquired the remake rights for Rs.5 lakh.
However, Sajid paid Rs.75 lakh for the same remake rights. Reportedly, Sajid Nadiadwala has spared neither efforts nor money in remaking the South hit. All though it is directed by a new name (Saabir Khan), it is said to have cost over Rs.60 crore. Incidentally, the film’s release has been postponed, thanks to the face-off between multiplexes and producers/distributors. Instead of 29th May, it may now be released in August or July. When will bollywood try to comeout with unique script?
